Have you ever played the "I've never" game? Basically, you sit around with friends and say "I've never ______". Then, if your friends have done the thing you say, they put a finger up. The first one with 10 fingers up is officially the loser (and usually the slut). Now, a quick game of "I've never".
Things I've Never Done.
I have never paid for Vogue, or even read through a whole one.
I have never been pulled over by the po-po.
I have never broken a bone.
I have never eaten proper Indian food.
I have never met someone named George that wasn't the bomb shizzle.
I have never dyed my hair.
I have never gone over my minutes, on my cellular.
I have never purchased jeans online.
I have never won a game of cribbage.
I have never had a grade less than a C+.
I have never been to Mexico.
I have never read a Jane Austen book all the way through, but I sometimes tell people that I have.
I have never really met anyone famous.
Libby, in poem (for English...) form.
I like airports, and the rainbows in gasoline
I wear plaid shorts, and watch films by Roman Polanski
Chasing ice cream trucks & stomping puddles in the rain
My interests are scattered, just like my brain
If I'm not people watching in the park
I might be swimming in the dark
I try not to judge, but I know that I do,
Because when you talk on your phone in a restaurant, I think that you're rude
Running down hills and feeling like you can't stop is clearly the best
Or maybe it's the feeling you get before you cry, that stabs in the chest
Hearing the perfect song for your mood is an excellent high,
But laughing at inappropriate times, so hard you want to cry, is probably tied.
Smelling like a campfire and napping in the sun
Drinking soda from glass bottles and laughing are fun
I'm hard to pin down really can't sing,
But "Quirky and weird are two very different things"
Do you like? I dunno...it's just a rough. We were supposed to choose on word to describe ourselves (I chose quirky), and write a poem about ourselves. So...that's what I did. It's really more of a detailed list, but my teacher is rather wacky, and this will probably work out.
Sorry I haven't been posting much. I've been kind of busy and de-motivated. Plus, I have been on a wee little Netflix binge. Atonement was heartbreaking. Better than the book, I thought. Just because the book was really slow in the beginning.
Have a nice Thursday.

Do you ever read Sonja Sones (Something like that "What my mother doesn't know.." she makes all her novels into poems).
Hope you do well on it in your classes.
Me gusta tu poema!
I thought I was the only person on Earth who found Atonement to be really slow. I had to stop reading it, I was so bored. Plus, it had to go back to the library. Ah, well.
Poem? fabariffic. i like.
But I think I play "I never" a little differently than you....we use thing's that we've actually done, like "I've never snuck out of my window at 2 in the morning to get some froyo" or stuff like that.
"I never" game.
I have at least 8 fingers up.
Looks like I'm the loser then...
I have to admit I've never had really good Indian food. I hear all about how great it is and a must try. But the places I've gone weren't that great. So maybe its just me.
I really like the two truths and one lie games, because my truths are always really biazarre that no one believes are real. Like getting stung by a scorpion...
haha rad poem! i love roman polanski movies too!
i play "i never" too but as a drinking game...if youve done it, you take a sip.
(oh by the way, i got 3 for your set!)
NoooOOooOOo!!! I loved Atonement the book! (I haven't seen the movie.) I actually thought the beginning was the most interesting part!
And oh no, Jane Austen. Like her prose, but the plots have always thrown me off. Maybe I should go back and try reading her again this summer.
