1. I Sing I Swim by Seabear
Seabear (not to be confused with Seawolf) are a fun little Icelandic band that I love.
They look like this, and they are from Iceland. Those things alone make Seabear a shoe in for "my like, favorite band ever".
2. Arms by Seabear
Ok...two Seabear songs, I know...sort of lame, I apologise. But, I will have you know, that this song could be my like, favorite song ever. I think I've talked about this song before, actually. Oh, yep. Just checked. Look what I wrote.
"Ohhh. My favorite. It makes me feel good."I often go out pacing when all I want to do is stay inside and look out the window with you".It's a perfect driving song. And they(Seabear) are from Iceland, so it's a given that they made the cut of my "most favorite songs ever"."
I'm so damn predictable.
3. Dust by Fleetwood Mac
The whole Bare Trees album, is one I could listen to over and over. It's so calming.
4. Pangea by Someone Still Loves You Boris Yelstin
I'm suprised anybody could love a "Boris Yelstin" really, but that's not the point. Pangea is probably my favorite SSLYBY (terrible acronym, I realize) song. For a while, I had no idea what it was about. Then, I thought back to my sixth grade year, and remembered that Pangea was the gonzo continent, and not just a freaky name. "Pangea we used to be together, why'd we have to drift apart", makes a hell of a lot more sense, now that I know what's going on.
5. A&E by Goldfrapp
I don't usually listen to a lot of Goldfrapp...besides "Oh la la". Because "Oh la la" is the best song for showering. But this A&E song here, well I like it. Dreamy, and early. Contrary to "Oh la la" or "Strict Machine", this song will not make you want to take off your clothes and dance. However, you may find yourself taking off your clothes, and spinning in circles or possibly swimming in a quiet lagoon. Oh, I also found a cover of "It's Not Over Yet" (Klaxons, originally), that Goldfrapp did. It's awesome.
6. Fish by Matthew McAvene
Like Jack Johnson & Matt Costa & those guys, but more interesting and better. I like "Brighter" too. You can check this genius out here. For the record, I actually paid money for this music, in lieu of Limewiring it. It's that good.
7. Fire by Alibi Tom
A Swedish band that is not metal, or electrosugar pop! YES! Alibi Tom is great. Really reminds me of The Strokes, and everybody likes The Strokes. Plus, their website is great. They blog in funny, but maybe correct, English.
8. Paper Planes by M.I.A.
"I fly like paper, get high like planes...mhhhh...bonafide hustler, making my name...mumble, gunshot, mumble" That's me, with Paper Planes stuck in my head, all through biologia. Terribly catchy, and containing gunshot noises; MIA can do no wrong. Plus, she's going to be at Sasquatch.
9. Get Away From Me Here, I'm Dying by Belle and Sebastian
I'm sort of a Belle and Sebastian fiend. All their songs are the same jittery, pocket-full-o'-change type things. I like.
10. Midnight Surprise by Lightspeed Champion
At a whopping nine minutes and fifty five seconds, this song is a little rambly and long. But, being the genius I am, just listen to half on days that I feel impatient. Which half do you listen to, you ask? I mix it up, because I'm cool like that.

Songs About Me.
I might note, that almost all the songs with "Libby" in them are terrible.
"Libby" by Carly Simon
"Libby, I'm Listening" by Blue October
"Libby" by Rob Fordyce
This last one might be my favorite. It's in the Children's Music genre. I'm pretty sure all "Children's Musicians" are pedophiles.

the only song i reconized m.i.as song..
Thanks for the comment. Thanks for reading. Love your info on music. I love indie music. I've been listening to The Teenagers and I can't help but giggle everytime I hear "Homecoming" which is a very quirky story of a frech boy hooks up with an american girl and she thinks she's having an english romance. Unfortunately, explicit, but I love the beat, the electronic sound and of course, the guitar and their French accent.
ooh pre-stevie fleetwood mac!! i already have mad love for you, but you went up a couple notches in my book already! i just copped bare trees on vinyl, worth the $7 for the gorgeous cover alone...
when you say "palmdale" by afroman, is that the same as "colt 45"? i dont know what its officially called, but the one that starts with the fish market joke and contains the verse "have you ever gone over to a girls house to fuck but the pussy just aint no good (SAY WHAAAT?)"?? hahaha
LOVE outkast's "roses" too, one of my favourite outkast...
